For context, my husband is a hockey player. I’ve always had this deep suspicion that he’s been cheating on me whenever he’s out of state for games and such, so I asked to search through his phone. He would get defensive and ask why and if I needed to search something up he would say, ‘just use the computer’ which is odd.
So one day I get fed up and I tell him if he doesn’t let me search through his phone I will divorce him. He finally agrees and he looks terrified. He was in fact cheating on me just not with a woman.
He was cheating on me with a man. Obviously sport communities are very homophobic and toxic, and his entire career will be ruined if this gets out. Maybe ruined is a stretch but this will definitely cause huge problems for him. I hated that all these years of marriage had just gone to waste.
I don’t care that he’s gay or bisexual or whatever the fuck I just care that he cheated on me. I been using the cheating evidence (evidence was multiple dick pics, grinder, and a ‘I love you’ text from a random man) as blackmail, yes I know it’s fucked up but him cheating on me was also fucked up.
This happens months ago and the only reason why I’m posting it now is because I just truly can’t hold it anymore. We decided to wait to legally divorce but I guess ‘socially’ we’re not together anymore. (It’s late and I’m tired so apologies for any grammar mistake or misspellings)
