Eight years in the gym taught me some brutal truths about fitness:

1. Eat as much fruit as you like — it’s incredibly hard to overdo it.

2. Sugar by itself isn’t what makes you gain fat.

3. If your libido is low, something in your health might be off.

4. Most people eat because they’re bored, thirsty, or stressed — not truly hungry. Ask yourself which one it is before you grab food.

5. Working out is a proven mood booster; constant negative news does the opposite. Choose wisely.

6. High-protein eating patterns tend to work best for most people.

7. Eggs are a nutrient powerhouse, not something to avoid.

8. Breakfast isn’t the holy grail meal people claim it is.

9. Hitting 10,000+ steps a day is one of the simplest but most effective fat-loss habits.

10. Thanks to epigenetics, almost everyone can improve past “bad genetics” through lifestyle changes.

11. Sparkling water or black coffee can help reduce appetite.

13. Spot-reducing fat isn’t possible.

14. Cut back on liquid calories — soda, heavy oils, and sugary coffee drinks sneak in a lot of unnecessary energy.

15. “Muscle confusion” isn’t a real training principle.

16. How you describe yourself shapes your habits, so stop labeling yourself as “lazy” or worse.

17. Foods like pizza, ice cream, and burgers can still fit into fat loss if the majority of your diet is clean.

18. Keep seed oils to a minimum.

19. Tackle your workout first thing in the morning if consistency is a struggle.

20. Training 3–4 times a week is far more sustainable long-term than going 6–7 days.

21. Being even 2% dehydrated can tank your performance and decision-making.

22. Getting eight hours of sleep is basically a performance enhancer.

23. Not sleeping enough spikes your hunger hormones, making fat loss tougher.

24. Get at least 15 minutes of morning sunlight to regulate your body clock and improve nighttime sleep.

25. Cold exposure — ice baths or cold showers — can help with stress.

26. Skipping workouts because you’re tired often makes you feel even more tired.

27. Protein is the most filling macronutrient, so start meals with it to avoid overeating.

28. Aim for 0.8–1 gram of protein per pound of your goal body weight for better satiety, muscle growth, and fat loss.

29. Carbs don’t cause fat gain — eating more calories than you need does.

30. The quality of your diet affects your mental state even more than your physical appearance.

31. Slow down while eating so your body has time to release leptin, the hormone that signals fullness.

32. Brush your teeth after dinner to curb late-night snacking.

33. Fat loss happens in the kitchen; muscle growth happens in the gym.

34. Don’t keep junk food at home — if it’s not there, you won’t eat it.

I35. f morning workouts help you stick to them, make them your first task of the day.

36. Use night-mode on your devices after sunset to reduce blue light exposure and improve sleep.

37. Sunshine is the most underrated “supplement” for better mood, sleep, energy, skin, and mental health.

38. Obesity is strongly associated with health risks.

39. If you want it more formal, more casual, shorter, or reorganized, just let me know!
