Pete Edochie has revealed what he believes has kept him faithful to one woman for 57 years of marriage.
The veteran Nollywood actor was speaking at his Legacy Gala Night on October 4, 2026, when someone in the audience asked him about it.
Edochie said he married young, and that he does not get distracted easily. He calls that one of his biggest blessings.
He also pointed to his love for classical music. According to him, it is meant for “cerebral appreciation” and is not the kind of music that leads a man to be distracted by women.
The actor did not present himself as perfect. He admitted he was once a heavy smoker and drinker before giving up both habits.
He says he is a very big Christian, and that his lifestyle does not allow that kind of distraction. It does not make him a wonderful man, he added.
