Ghanaian musician Keche Joshua has a warning for anyone who thinks their warmest friends can be trusted without question.
Speaking in an interview on Onua FM on September 30, 2026, the singer said people who laugh with you, hug you and keep telling you they love you may not wish you well. In his words, they are “the people who will destroy you.”
He also had a word about close friendships. Calling someone your best friend, he said, can be even more dangerous.
The report does not say whether he was referring to a particular person or his own experience.
Still, he did not stop at the warning. He advised people not to depend only on others for support and to keep God in their lives. With God, he said, a person can still be okay despite all the hate.

Separately, GhanaWeb has reported that Keche Joshua gifted GH¢3,000 to a vendor who had made no sales.
