I became friends with a woman who worked at a deli near my house. She had been married three times, and her last husband was extremely wealthy. He treated her like a queen and showered her with expensive gifts.
Yet she eventually asked for a divorce—not because of cheating or abuse, but because she was tired of being a trophy wife. He begged her to stay and threatened that she would get nothing if she left. She signed the papers and walked away with just $6.
Life afterward was difficult. She struggled to pay her bills and had no savings or retirement plan. Still, when I asked if she regretted leaving her luxurious life, she said no. Her freedom mattered more.
Her story proves one thing: you cannot make someone regret losing you if they don’t care about losing you.
You can improve your body, become wealthy, or date beautiful women, but none of it guarantees that someone who rejected you will regret it.
Instead of seeking revenge after rejection, use that energy to rebuild yourself and become a better man. You’ll be better off for it.
