Ghanaian fashion icon Nana Akua Addo has spoken out after videos of her and her husband in a heated altercation spread online.
In a TikTok live on October 6, 2026, she made several allegations about her marriage.
She claimed her husband placed a curfew on her and that she is beaten whenever she gets home after 10 PM. She said this explains why she is rarely seen at red-carpet events.
She also alleged that he blocked ambassadorial deals meant for her. According to her, she was only able to travel to Milan and Nigeria after leaving the home for about a month, when his family came to confront her.
Nana Akua Addo also spoke about losing her child during pregnancy. She claimed her husband refused to give her money for the hospital, and that she developed eclampsia in her seventh month. She said she lost the baby three days after an incident at the hospital involving her mother-in-law.
