About two months ago when I was at work, my dad and my girlfriend had been left alone in the house that we all live in. Me and my two brothers( older and younger) stay here alongside my dad. My dad at first was making sexual jokes and expecting it to rub off the shoulder.
But it essentially made me uncomfortable, and I even mentioned it to him. When I was at work, my older brother who lives in the basement noticed shaking noises for a long period of time from my father’s bed. He called me immediately and went upstairs to confront the two, in which my girlfriend had come out fixing her pants with messy hair.
Over this time I have mention it to him multiple times and he refuses to admit and take accountability on what he’s done, but essentially it is telling on himself. Every time that my now ex-girlfriend comes up in a conversation, it always ends in a sexual joke or a sexual manner. Since all of this has happened, I have distance to myself from my father, and our relationship is not the same.
It went from watching a movie whenever I’m free and or off work, to me spending most of my time in my room with the door closed, minding my business. Would it be a good idea to separate myself from my father altogether?
Even though he is helping me right now since I don’t have a car and he’s making sure I’m fed as a father should, I’m not sure what I should do. I’m tired of thinking about it and I’m tired of him not admitting what he’s done.
