Uber Driver Who Alleged Sexual Assault by Three Women Reportedly Receives GH¢105,600 Compensation

An Uber driver who says three women sexually assaulted him has reportedly been paid GH¢105,600 by the women, according to a GhanaWeb report published on Friday, October 9, 2026.

The driver, whose name has been withheld, lives in Kasoa Budumburam. He earlier told GhanaWeb the incident happened at East Legon Hills. His account and videos spread widely online.

The payment claim comes from a Kasapa FM report shared on X, which GhanaWeb saw on October 8.

The report says the driver first agreed to GH¢100,000, and the women paid GH¢50,000 upfront. It does not explain why the final figure was GH¢5,600 higher.

Reactions online are mixed. Some people want the Ghana Police Service to arrest the women, while others say no amount of money justifies the alleged act.

The reports do not say whether the matter has been formally reported to the police. The women have not been named, and the claims remain allegations.
